Summary:
Our clinic is conducting a clinical research study for adolescents and adults with partial epilepsy. You may be able to participate if you:
-are at least 13 years old
-were diagnosed with partial epileptic seizures at least 6 months ago
-have at least 2 partial seizures per month
-are currently taking only 1 antiepileptic drug (AED); some AEDs are excluded
-are not currently taking Lamictal.
Study staff with review additional criteria with you to determine eligibility.
Qualified Participants Must:
• Qualified participants will be asked to come to the clinic for up to 13 study visits during the study, which could last up to 59 weeks. All study-related medical exams, laboratory tests, and study medication will be provided to qualified participants at no cost.
