Ulcerative Proctitis / Proctosigmoiditis Clinical Trial
New Investigational Therapeutic Option

Wake Research Associates is conducting a clinical research trial for patients suffering from active UP/UPS with mild to moderate symptoms.

The trial is a randomized, multicenter study providing an investigational new treatment option for active UP/UPS with mild to moderate symptoms: budesonide foam.

Primary Objective
To determine the safety and effectiveness of budesonide foam as compared to placebo through six weeks of study treatment.


Qualified Participants Must:

• Be 18-75 years of age
• Have active ulcerative proctitis or proctosigmoiditis
• Have no use of corticosteroids within 30 days of study entry
• Have no other active gastrointestinal disease


Qualified Participants May Receive:

Study-related medical examinations and study medication at no cost. Compensation may be provided for time and travel.
