Summary:
Om Medical is conducting a research study to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of an experimental medication compared to placebo (inactive substance) the treatment of patients with irritable bowel syndrome with diarrhea, or IBS-D. There will be approximately 8 office visits over 18 weeks.
Qualified Participants Must:
Be 18-65 years of age
Have diarrhea predominant irritable bowel syndrome
Have had a colonoscopy or flexible sigmoidoscopy in the last 5 years
Qualified Participants May Receive:
Study medication or placebo, study related testing, physical exams, and lab work at no charge. Compensation may be available to qualified participants for each completed visit (for time and travel).
