Summary:
This is a clinical research trial of an investigational medication for Type 2 diabetes in patients who are unable to manage their diabetes with diet and exercise alone.
Qualified Participants Must:
• Be 18 to 77 years of age
•
Have Type 2 Diabetes
•
Have not been treated with or have had only limited exposure to either oral antidiabetic medication or insulin.
Qualified Participants May Receive:
Research medication, medical care, laboratory work and evaluations, glucose monitoring supplies, and diabetic and nutritional counseling
