Summary:
Researchers in the RE-SURGE study are now enrolling participants to help evaluate the effectiveness and safety of an investigational medicine for preventing gout flares when used in combination with FDA-approved gout medicines.
Qualified Participants Must:
• Be 18-80 years of age
•
Have a history of gout and are at risk of gout flare
•
Be able to or are already receiving treatment with allopurinol
•
Not currently be experiencing a gout flare
Qualified Participants May Receive:
Qualified participants will receive study medicine as well as study-related medical evaluations at no cost. Reimbursement for time and travel may also be available.
