Summary:
Do you have HIV Neuropathy and looking for relief?
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of pregabalin compared to placebo in reducing neuropathic pain associated with HIV neuropathy.
Qualified Participants Must:
• Be 18 years of age or older
•
Have documented evidence of HIV-1 infection
•
Have documented diagnosis of HIV-associated Distal Symmetrical Polyneuropathy (DSP) with subjective sensory symptom of pain
•
Have pain that starts in the feet
Qualified Participants May Receive:
Study related care, diagnostic tests, and study medication at no cost. Payment for time and travel to the study center may be provided.
