Summary:
A randomized, double blind, placebo-controlled, parallel-group study of the efficacy and safety of welchol for type 2 diabetes.
Qualified Participants Must:
• Be diabetic
•
Be at least 18 years of age
•
Be taking no diabetes medications OR be currently taking Actos for treatment of diabetes
•
Be experiencing uncontrolled sugar levels
Qualified Participants May Receive:
All study-related medications, all study-related medical care at no cost, glucometer and all sugar-testing supplies, and compensation for time and travel.
