Summary:
Is your diabetes still not controlled with long acting insulin and oral medications?
The study is recruiting subjects that have type ii diabetes that are currently on basal insulin and oral diabetes medications but their hba1c remains high (6.5 to 10%).
The study is evaluating the safety and efficacy of the investigational inhaled insulin versus novalog.
Qualified Participants Must:
Be 18 years of age or older
Have a diagnosis of type ii diabetes for at least 12 months
Be on basal insulin (like lantus) and be on oral diabetes medications
Have a study start hba1c result of 6.5 to 10.0%
Have a bmi less than 45
Be a non-smoker for at least 6 months prior to first study visit
Not have asthma or copd or other significant breathing problems/health issues
Qualified Participants May Receive:
Medical and lab tests, a glucometer and testing supplies at no cost. Time and travel compensation up to $450.00 for qualified participants.
