Summary:

A research study to determine the safety and efficacy of an investigational medication for Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD).


Qualified Participants Must:

• Be 40 years of age or older
• Be a previous or current smoker
• Have a diagnosis of severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) which includes chronic bronchitis or emphysema
• Have had a flare up of symptoms that required treatment in the past year


Qualified Participants May Receive:

16 study-related doctor's visits over 64 weeks. EKGs, lung function tests, and study medication at no cost to you. Compesation for time and travel up to $2318.
