Summary:
If you have Type 2 Diabetes and have inadequate control of your blood sugar
levels, you may be eligible to participate in a research study. We currently have a study that investigates an add-on therapy to pioglitazone (Actos) to improve glycemic control in subjects with Type 2 Diabetes not adequately controlled with pioglitazone alone or pioglitazone in combination with either metformin or a sulfonylurea.
Qualified Participants Must:
• Be at least 18 years of age
•
Be taking Pioglitazone (ACTOS) for treatment of Type 2 Diabetes
•
Have blood sugar that is not well-controlled
Qualified Participants May Receive:
Study-related care, lab exams and investigational medication at no cost, as well as
compensation for time and travel up to $600.
