Summary:
Hot Flashes Research Study for Postmenopausal Women - This study evaluates an investigational medication for postmenopausal women who experience hot flashes. The study is up to 42 weeks long, with 8 office visits and 2 phone visits.
Qualified Participants Must:
Be a postmenopausal woman, with or without hysterectomy
Be 18 to 70 years of age
Be experiencing hot flashes
Be willing to avoid taking other medications and herbal supplements specifically for their hot flashes while on the study
For the purposes of this study," postmenopausal" means without menses (periods) for 12 months. However, those without menses 6 – 12 months who meet additional criteria may also participate in the study.
Qualified Participants May Receive:
Compensation up to $600 for time and travel, all study related screenings, laboratory tests, and study medication at no cost.
