Summary:

This investigational research study is approximately 20 weeks long and evaluates the effectiveness and safety of a medication currently on the market compared to placebo for those already diagnosed with gout.


Qualified Participants Must:

• Be male or a postmenopausal woman
• Be 18-70 years of age
• Have had two or more gout flare-ups in the last year (eligibility may depend on your uric acid levels)
• Currently not being treated for gout


Qualified Participants May Receive:

Compensation for time and travel is available for those who qualify.
