Summary:

Clinical Trials of Arizona, Inc. is looking for bipolar volunteers 18 to 65 years of age to participate in a research study. The study purpose is to test the safety and effectiveness of an investigational medication or placebo (inactive substance) in combination with an FDA approved medication. For qualified volunteers, the study may last up to 72 weeks and will include diagnostic testing and evaluations by a board-certified psychiatrist.


Qualified Participants Must:

• Be between 18 and 65 years of age
• Be diagnosed with Bipolar I Disorder
• Currently be taking Depakote, Depakene or Lamictal
• Additional criteria may apply


Qualified Participants May Receive:

Reimbursement will be available for time and travel.
