Summary:

The purpose of this study is to see if an investigational extended release medication is safe, tolerable, and can help decrease pain in people who have chronic low back pain, as compared to placebo (inactive substance). Study participants are required to undergo a drug screening and make approximately 13 office visits over approximately 5 months. Qualified participants will receive compensation for time and travel.


Qualified Participants Must:

• Must be between 18 and 80 years of age
• Have chronic lower back pain for at least 3 months
• Have seen a doctor for their back pain
