Summary:

Researchers are conducting a flu study in local clinics involving participants who have weakened immune systems due to diseases such as cancer, rheumatoid arthritis, HIV, or organ transplant. You may be able to take part – and help other patients like you in the future. If you’re selected, you’ll be able to contact a local doctor’s office for an evaluation as soon as you start to experience one or more flu-like symptoms such as:

  • Fever
  • Nasal Congestion
  • Sore Throat
  • Cough
  • Aches and Pains
  • Fatigue/tiredness
  • Headache
  • Chills/sweats (feverish)

Participants who complete the study will receive study medication and study-related medical care at no charge.
