Summary:
Do you have high cholesterol, and are you also taking a cholesterol lowering medication?
If so, you may qualify for a new research study at Clinical Trials of Texas, Inc. This study is testing the safety, effectiveness and tolerability of an investigational medication for those with high cholesterol when compared to placebo.
Qualified Participants Must:
• Be over 18 with high cholesterol
• Currently taking a statin(Simvastatin, Atorvastatin, Rosuvastatin) at highest dose
• Have a known history of vascular disease (heart-attack, angina, heart surgery or procedures, history of stroke of peripheral artery disease (PAD))
• Additional criteria may apply
Qualified Participants May Receive:
Study-related medical care from a board certified physician, study medication, study exams and testing at no charge. Compensation up to $560 is available for time and travel.
