Evaluating
a potential new therapy to improve blood pressure control and help prevent
heart attack, stroke, and heart failure.
Trialmed San Antonio is inviting adults with uncontrolled
high blood pressure to participate in a clinical research study evaluating an
investigational medication. This medication targets a gene involved in
hypertension and is administered every six months, alongside your current blood
pressure treatment.
The purpose
of the study is to evaluate whether this treatment can help reduce the risk of
serious cardiovascular events.
Qualified Participants Must:
Be 18 or older with high blood pressure that is not well controlled despite taking ≥2 medications (including a diuretic)
Have either established cardiovascular disease (such as heart attack, stroke, or poor circulation) or are at high risk for cardiovascular disease due to factors like age, high BMI, diabetes, kidney problems, or smoking
Qualified Participants May Receive:
- Study-related care at no cost
- Possible access to study drugs
- Reimbursement available for
study-related time and travel
