Summary:

Overactive Bladder (OAB) is a common condition affecting older adults. It is estimated that more than half of the elderly population experiences OAB symptoms. If you are 65 years of age or older and are experiencing symptoms of OAB or have been diagnosed by your physician, you may qualify for a new research study at Clinical Trials of Texas, Inc. This study is testing the safety and effectiveness of Mirabegron, an already FDA approved medication, compared to a placebo (inactive drug).

Qualified Participants Must:

• Be 65 years of age or older
• Be experiencing symptoms of OAB for at least 3 months
• Not have other bladder issues such as bladder stones or interstitial cystitis
• Additional criteria may apply

Qualified Participants May Receive:

Study medication, testing and care from a board-certified physician at no cost. Reimbursement up to $40 per visit will be provided for study-related travel.
