Summary:
Are you or your child living with ASTHMA that is severe and uncontrolled?
Asthma is a common respiratory disease affecting
millions worldwide. People with asthma have a
number of treatment options, including drugs called
inhaled corticosteroids. Many people with asthma
have taken an inhaled corticosteroid or another kind
of medication to treat it.
However, these medications don’t work well for
everyone. Some people still get serious flare-ups, or
find that their asthma still gives them trouble in their
everyday lives or at nighttime.
By participating, you or your child may receive
at no cost:
- Investigational drug for uncontrolled asthma
- Your current asthma medication
- Study-related care from a local doctor
- Compensation for time
Qualified Participants Must:
Be between 12 and 75 years of age
Have had asthma for at least one year
Currently be taking medication for asthma (other than
a rescue inhaler)
Have had at least 2 asthma attacks within the
past year that required steroid use or a visit to the
ER or Urgent Care Center
