Encinitas, CA 92024

Summary:

Are you or your child living with ASTHMA that is severe and uncontrolled?

Asthma is a common respiratory disease affecting millions worldwide. People with asthma have a number of treatment options, including drugs called inhaled corticosteroids. Many people with asthma have taken an inhaled corticosteroid or another kind of medication to treat it.
However, these medications don’t work well for everyone. Some people still get serious flare-ups, or find that their asthma still gives them trouble in their everyday lives or at nighttime.

By participating, you or your child may receive at no cost:

  • Investigational drug for uncontrolled asthma
  • Your current asthma medication
  • Study-related care from a local doctor
  • Compensation for time

Qualified Participants Must:

• Be between 12 and 75 years of age
• Have had asthma for at least one year
• Currently be taking medication for asthma (other than a rescue inhaler)
• Have had at least 2 asthma attacks within the past year that required steroid use or a visit to the ER or Urgent Care Center
