HbA1c reduction at week 26 in patients with type 2 diabetes who
have inadequate control with metformin.
• Be 18 years of age or older• Have a HbA1c of 7.0% - 10.0%• Your BMI is 20 and -45 kg/m2• Have type 2 diabetes and be on metformin at a stable dosage 1500 mg/day at least 12 weeks before enrollment• Are willing to perform self-monitoring of blood glucose
