Clinical Trial 39173

Chattanooga, TN 37421

Summary:

Is Overactive Bladder Keeping you in Place?

If you have an overactive bladder (OAB), our doctors need your help in testing an investigational drug.

Don’t let OAB stop you from living your life. Overactive bladder (OAB) causes an urge or need to urinate immediately. The urge may be difficult to stop, and OAB may lead to involuntary loss of urine (urge incontinence). If you have an overactive bladder, you may feel embarrassed, isolate yourself, or limit your work and social life.

If you experience OAB, there is a no-cost research study called EMPOWUR that is testing the effectiveness of an investigational drug at controlling the distressing symptoms of OAB.

To qualify for the EMPOWUR research study, you must:

  • Be a woman, at least 18 years of age
  • Have a history of OAB as diagnosed by a doctor
  • Have not had a surgery in the last 6 months to correct stress urinary incontinence.

If you have any questions about whether this trial is right for you, you should speak to your physician.

Qualified Participants May Receive:

  • Study-related medicine
  • Study-related medical care
  • Compensation up for time and travel

Clinical trials are medical research studies designed to test the safety and/or effectiveness of new investigational drugs, devices, or treatments in humans. These studies are conducted worldwide for a range of conditions and illnesses. Learn more about clinical research and participating in a study at About Clinical Trials.
