Summary:

A clinical research study is being conducted to learn if an investigational once weekly injection medication may help patients lose weight and prevent a heart attack. The study will last for 5 years with 25 office visits. 


Qualified Participants Must:

• Have a history of heart attack, stroke or symptomatic peripheral arterial disease
• Patients cannot have diabetes to particpate in this study
• Patients cannot have a histroy of cancer or kidney disease within the last 5 years
• Patients cannot have a history of chronic pancreatitis.


Qualified Participants May Receive:

Investigational drug & study exams at no cost 
Compensation for time and travel.
