Local doctors are conducting a clinical trial to determine the accuracy of an investigational implantable continuous glucose sensor for management of diabetes. If you or a loved one have diabetes and are looking to explore your management options, this clinical trial may be right for you.
Criteria:Be at least 18 years old
Diagnosis of diabetes for at least 12 months
Not have a history of unexplained severe hypoglycemia in the last 6 months*
Not have a history of diabetic ketoacidosis requiring emergency room visit or hospitalization in the last 6 months
Not have gastroparesis
Have no known topical or local anesthetic allergy
No known allergy to glucocorticoids
No Hematocrit less than 30% or greater than 60%
*Severe hypoglycemia is defined as hypoglycemia resulting in loss of consciousness or seizure
