Be between the ages of 18-65 years old
Have BMI between 18.5 and 32 kg/m2
Have HbA1c 7-10%
Be on a stable insulin regimen for at least 8 weeks
Have no severe symptomatic hypoglycemic event in past 6 months
Have no myocardial infarction, unstable angina, revascularization procedure or cerebrovascular accident in past 12 weeks
Not smoke more than 10 cigarettes per day
Have no history of illicit drug use or alcohol abuse within the last 6 months
Not have participated in an investigational drug or device trial within 30 days
