Summary:

We are currently recruiting participants for a clinical research study to compare the effectiveness of an investigational medication compared to an FDA approved medication in patients with type 2 diabetes inadequately controlled with metformin alone.


Qualified Participants Must:

• Be 18 years of age or older
• Have a clinical diagnosis of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM)
• Have diagnosis of diabetes for at least 1 year
• Be on a stable dose of at least 1,500 mg per day of metformin (or maximum tolerated dose)
• Have an HbA1c between 7.0% and 10.0%, inclusive


Qualified Participants May Receive:

  • Reimbursement for time and travel
  • Study-related care and study medicine at no cost (no health insurance required)
