Summary:
We are currently recruiting participants for a clinical research study to compare the effectiveness on blood sugar levels of an investigational medication to an FDA approved medication as add-on therapy to metformin in adult participants with type 2 diabetes.
Qualified Participants Must:
• Be 18 years of age or older
•
Have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes
•
Have an HbA1c value of 7.0% to 10.5%, inclusive
•
Be on a stable treatment with unchanged dose of metformin greater than or equal to 1500 mg/day for at least 3 months
Qualified Participants May Receive:
- Reimbursement for time and travel
- Study-related care and study medicine at no cost (no health insurance required)
