Summary:
A study to compare the effectiveness of an investigational medication to insulin glargine in patients with type 2 diabetes with increased cardiovascular risk.
Qualified Participants Must:
• Be 18 years old or older
•
Have Type 2 Diabetes
•
Have an HbA1c value of 7.5% to 10.5%, inclusive
•
Have had a cardiovascular event (e.g. heart attack, stroke)
Qualified Participants May Receive:
- Reimbursement for time and travel
- Study-related care and study medicine at no cost (no health insurance required)
