Summary:
High Triglycerides with Type 2 Diabetes
Qualified Participants Must:
• You may be able to take part if you:
- Have a diagnosis of type 2 diabetes for 12 weeks or longer
- Are a woman 55 years of age or more, a man 50 years of age or more, or are 18 years of age or more with systemic atherosclerosis (also called artery disease, which is a hardening or narrowing of the arteries)
- Have been told you have moderately high triglyceride levels. Please ask your doctor if you are
•not sure.
Qualified Participants May Receive:
Compensation for time and travel.
The study will involve approximately 10,000 participants from around the world and will last for about 5 years. All study-related care will be provided at no cost to you.
