Summary:
The Lotus study is a clinical research study for birth control users. The goal of the study is to see if a hormonal birth control pill called LF111 (already approved in the United States under the commercial name SLYND) affects women's bone mineral density. If you qualify, you will have the opportunity to use LF111 for free for 1 year. Your partcipation may help scientists and doctors learn more about LF111 and may help women evaluate their birth control options.
Qualified Participants Must:
14-45 years old
First period was over 2 years ago
Menstruating for at least 6 months since last pregnancy
Willing to use the same form of birth control for 1 year
Qualified Participants May Receive:
You will receive LF111 or a non-hormonal birth control option for the duration of the study
You will receive free DEXA scans
You will be compensated for your time and travel.
