Summary:
We are currently recruiting patients who have either Type 1 or Type 2 Diabetes who have elevated cholesterol levels that are willing to participate in a research study in this area. This study is assessing whether the administration of a combination study drug therapy versus another study medication will provide adequate control of patients’ cholesterol.
Qualified Participants Must:
• Have either Type 1 or Type 2 Diabetes
•
Be willing to take study medication
•
Have elevated/high cholesterol
•
Be willing to attend all required study visits
•
Have heart disease and/or stroke history if you are not a diabetic
Qualified Participants May Receive:
Qualified participants will receive at no charge physical exams, study related echocardiograms, study related lab work, study related assessments, study medications and supervision by a local experienced physician.
