Learn more about a clinical trial of a study drug for people who are living with heart failure with reduced ejection fraction, or HFrEF. Also called systolic heart failure, HFrEF is a type of cardiac dysfunction where the heart is too weak to pump enough blood around the body.


You may be able to join the POWER-HF study if you or your loved one:

  • Are between 30 to 85 years old
  • Have been diagnosed with symptomatic heart failure in at least the past 90 days
  • Have been on the same medical therapy for heart failure for at least 4 weeks
  • Other requirements need to be met to join the POWER-HF study.


Qualified Participants May Receive:

Participants in the study will receive at no cost:

  • Treatment with the study drug or placebo
  • Close care and oversight by the study doctor throughout the study
