Summary:
We are currently recruiting patients who have Type 2 Diabetes and are currently taking Lantus or Levemir each day that are willing to participate in a research study in this area. This study is assessing whether the administration of a weekly injectable study medication will provide adequate control of patients’ diabetes.
Qualified Participants Must:
• Have Type 2 Diabetes
•
Be willing to take study medication
•
Be currently taking either Lantus or Levemir Insulin
•
Not be currently taking Lantus but be willing to switch to Lantus
•
Be willing to give yourself an injection up to twice a day
•
Be willing to attend all required study visits
Qualified Participants May Receive:
Qualified participants will receive at no charge physical exams, study related lab work, study related assessments, study medications and supervision by a local experienced physician.
