Protoporphyria is a rare genetic disorder that affects the production of heme, a component of hemoglobin. It causes a buildup of protoporphyrin in the blood, leading to skin sensitivity to sunlight, which can result in pain, redness, and swelling.
We are looking for patient volunteers to participate in a study to test the efficacy of a new medication for Protoporphyria. The medication will be provided at no cost to you or your insurance, and you will be compensated for your time and travel. Plus, if you refer a friend who qualifies, you’ll earn a $100 bonus.
Qualified Participants Must:
Above 18 years old
Diagnosed of EPP or XLP
