Eosinophilic esophagitis is a recognized chronic
allergic/immune condition of the esophagus.
Eosinophils, white blood cells, can release substances into surrounding
tissues that cause inflammation. The chronic inflammation leads to symptoms
including decreased appetite, recurring abdominal pain, and trouble swallowing
or vomiting.
Tandem Clinical Research is looking for volunteers with eosinophilic
esophagitis for a research study of an investigational medication.
To qualify, you must:
- Be 18+ years of age
- Have eosinophilic esophagitis
- Be experiencing difficulty swallowing
- Be willing to complete a daily diary
