Summary:

This study is using an investigational medication to treat people who have been diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis. We are looking for individuals who are still experiencing symptoms despite your current treatment or if who have never received treatment for this disease.   


Qualified Participants Must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have been diagnosed for at least four months with ulcerative colitis, which is not well controlled under current therapy
• Be willing to follow a study plan-study related scheduled visits and procedures, daily diary phone call-in and other study procedures


Qualified Participants May Receive:

  1. Study participants will be reimbursed for time and potentially travel.
  2. Investigational drug (placebo or/AND investigational drug) will be provided at no cost to you. 

  3. All study related visits and tests (labs, colonoscopies, stool analysis, chest X-rays, etc) as it relates to this study will be provided at no cost to you.
