Summary:
We are looking for participants who have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, DMII, who are currently taking medications for diabetes II with a BMI of 25+, and who have a history of a cardiac event. If this is you, then you may qualify to participate in this weight loss study.
Qualified Participants Must:
• 18+ years of age
• Must have type 2 diabetes
• be taking medication for diabetes
• have BMI of 25+
• History of one of the following: heart attack, stroke, TIA, PAD, Chronic Kidney Disease, or class 2-3 heart failure
Qualified Participants May Receive:
Those who meet the eligibility criteria for this study will receive compensation for time and travel at the end of each visit. Transportation is available for those who do not have transportation to the clinic.
